These terms describe your use of Roley. By using the service, you agree to follow these terms, the app’s Community rules, and applicable laws. Read the Privacy policy for information about your data.

1. Eligibility and accounts

Roley is for adults aged 18 and over. Confirm that you meet this requirement when creating an account. Registration and sign-in use your email address and password. Keep your sign-in details private and contact support if you need help with your account.

2. Scenarios and collaboration

Roley lets you publish and participate in public scenarios. Scenario creators manage roles, participation limits, and deadlines. Previously created private scenarios remain visible only to their creators.

You can respond through supported text and media, complete collaborations, and publish recaps. Direct messaging becomes available only after two users complete two scenarios together and both consent to connect.

3. Your content

You retain your rights to the content you create. By posting it, you grant Roley a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, store, and display it for the purpose of providing the service.

Share only content you have the right to use, and respect other people’s copyright and privacy. Content in public scenarios is visible to other users. You can use the app’s content controls to remove your published content; message visibility and account closure work as explained in the Privacy policy.

4. Cues and purchases

Roley offers in-app purchases of virtual items called Cues and related in-app features. Cues can be used for supported virtual gifts and app features. The store purchase screen displays the applicable product and price before you confirm.

Cues are not cash, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred as a balance between users. Sending an available virtual gift is an in-app use of Cues. Cue purchases are non-refundable through Roley; any refund is handled by the platform store under its policies.

For a purchase issue, include the product, purchase date, and relevant store transaction information in your support request. Never send payment-card details or your password.

5. Community conduct and enforcement

Keep interactions respectful, inclusive, and relevant to the scenario. Harassment, hate speech, threats, fraud, and content that violates privacy or copyright are prohibited. These rules apply to scenarios, responses, recaps, comments, media, and direct messages.

Roley may review content and behavior, remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts that violate the rules. You can report content or users, block users, and appeal moderation decisions through the app.

6. Account closure

You can use the account control in the app to disable your account. The current “Delete account” action prevents further sign-in and clears local sign-in information, but does not automatically erase stored records or uploaded files. Contact us separately about removing personal information or content; see the Privacy policy for details.
