This page explains Roley’s information practices for the app and this website. Roley is for adults aged 18 and over. For privacy questions or requests, email xuankieu1965@icloud.com.
1. Information used by the app
- Account and profile information. Your email and password are used for account registration and sign-in. Roley stores your profile details, adult-age confirmation, language preferences, and records of your agreement to its policies. Your age confirmation is not displayed publicly.
- Content and participation. Roley processes the scenarios, roles, responses, recaps, comments, text, images, short videos, and voice notes you submit. It records collaboration progress and completed scenarios to support participation and connection eligibility.
- Connections and messages. Connection requests, consent, message content, and conversation records support direct messaging between eligible collaborators.
- Preferences and activity. Interests, response styles, participation history, and app preferences help organize the experience and support relevant scenario discovery.
- Safety records. Reports include the reported item or user, selected reason, and any note or evidence you provide. Blocking records and moderation appeals support safety controls and review.
- Purchases and Cues. Store purchase information, transaction identifiers, Cue balances, gifts, and transaction history are used to fulfill purchases and maintain your wallet.
2. Why information is processed
Roley uses this information to authenticate accounts, display content, manage scenarios and collaborations, enable eligible connections, deliver messages, fulfill purchases, maintain preferences, and address reports and support requests. App information and uploaded media are sent to the services used to operate Roley.
3. Visibility and sharing
Public profile details and content posted to public scenarios can be seen by other users. Responses follow the visibility of their scenario. Previously created private scenarios are available only to their creators. Consider what you include in public content, especially information about other people.
Direct messages are intended for the participants in a connection. Deleting a message or clearing a conversation from your view does not remove the other participant’s copy. Reporting content makes the report and the relevant information available for moderation; report details are not displayed to the reported user through the reporting interface.
Hosting, file storage, and platform purchase services process information needed to perform their roles. Purchases are handled through the platform store, which also applies its own privacy practices.
4. Camera, photos, and microphone
Roley requests camera access to take photos or short videos, photo-library access to choose media, and microphone access to record voice notes. Requests occur when you use the relevant feature or select it in Settings → Permissions. These permissions are not used for background recording.
You can manage permissions in your device settings. Denying access limits the related media feature; you can still use features that do not require that permission.
5. Retention, content removal, and account closure
Account, content, collaboration, message, and transaction records are stored to support the service. The app provides controls to delete content you published, including scenarios, responses, recaps, and comments. Message removal works separately and may hide content only from your view.
The current “Delete account” action disables the account and clears local sign-in information. It prevents further sign-in with that account, but does not automatically erase stored content, uploaded files, or account records. If you want stored personal information or content removed, contact the privacy email below. Do not rely on account closure alone to erase it.
No fixed retention period is stated here. Contact us for questions about a particular record or a deletion request.
6. Your controls and requests
You can edit your profile, manage device permissions, remove supported published content, block users, report issues, and submit a moderation appeal in the app. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, email xuankieu1965@icloud.com. Include enough information to identify the account or content involved, but never send your password.
7. This website
This static website includes no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, sign-in forms, or cookies set by its pages. Following an email link opens your email application. The service hosting the website may process request information to deliver the pages.
8. Updates and contact
The dates above identify the app policy and this website explanation. Read this page again when it is updated. Privacy and support share one contact address: xuankieu1965@icloud.com.
